PIA of North Dakota 60th Annual Convention

Date: May 5 – 6, 2025

Location: Fargo, North Dakota

PIA of Arkansas Convention – Taking Care of Business: Optimize, Execute, Conquer

Date: May 6 – 8, 2025

Location: Memphis, Tennessee

Attendees were focused on taking care of business at PIA of Arkansas’s convention this past May in Memphis, Tennessee. Key topics included emerging technologies such as AI and ChatGPT as well as ongoing challenges including the hard market and attracting talent and retaining current staff. Presenters shared insightful and impactful strategies on how to create agency culture, implementing AI and ChatGPT, cultivating a confident mindset, as well as identified market trends to help agents plan for the future of their agencies.

PIA of Indiana Annual Convention: Your Tactical Playbook to Survive THRIVE

Date: May 8 – 9, 2025

Location: Noblesville, Indiana

Thriving not just surviving in today’s insurance market was the key takeaway at PIA of Indiana’s Annual Convention. The event was designed to provide a playbook for tactical business decisions to help the agency succeed. Attendees heard from leading experts on a wide variety of topics including E&O, ethics, AI, hiring & staffing, and a legislative update. The conference even featured a social outing that included dinner, drinks, and live music headlined by PIA of Indiana’s 2024 -2025 President, Tim Allen.

PIA of VA and DC Annual Convention: ROCK THE BLOCK

Date: June 3 – 5, 2025

Location: Virginia Beach, Virginia

Everyone kicked off their work shoes and got Footloose at this year’s PIA VA/DC annual convention. With the theme, ROCK THE BLOCK, the conference had music-inspired events and attendees were encouraged to dress in 80s and 90s music costumes. The buzz was all about AI and tech innovation that was changing the industry, embracing tech when it works, and always be looking towards the future with an open mind.

PIA of NY and NJ Annual Conference: Strike the Right Cord for Success

Date: June 8 – 10, 2025

Location: Atlantic City, New Jersey

Som 1,700 insurance professionals from across the Northeast flocked to Atlantic City, NJ for the PIANJ | PIANY Annual Conference at the Hard Rock Casino Hotel. Speakers, education sessions and a panel on artificial intelligence all provided attendees with educational opportunities—while the sold-out trade show and various social events provided the backdrop to numerous networking opportunities.

The LandShark Bar & Grill opened its doors for PIA. There, attendees enjoyed the food,
the beverages, the atmosphere of Atlantic City’s iconic Boardwalk, and the company
of each other. All of this was backed by the music of GoodMan Fiske—one of the most
popular cover bands on the East Coast.
The NJYIP 41st Annual Fun Run 5K—which benefited Special
Olympics New Jersey—was held Tuesday morning on the
Boardwalk outside of the Hard Rock Casino. This year, some 90
runners participated. The event raised $85,746 for SONJ.
